It is marketed as “Skin Essence & Cream & Sleeping Cream = 3in1 =  skin elasticity + Anti-Wrinkle + Brightening. The various steps of skin care can be reduced by applying this cream. Several oriental herbal ingredients help to care your skin healthy and elastic. Created from precious extracts derived from 5 kinds of Ginseng such as Wild Ginseng, Premium Panax Ginseng, Black Ginseng, and Scrophularia Buergeriana, which is known to control the circulation of energy. Other main herbal ingredients contains figwort, pure gold, antler, cordyceps.”

There are not many other creams that can feel as luxurious as this. This cream is so nicely packaged I kinda felt important using it. I brought it the whole Cho Bo Yang set from Missha and it came in a beautiful metallic box lined in faux silk. The jar itself is glass in a beautiful dark blue and silver ombre with golden Korean words. The metallic navy top is also beautifully adorned with holographic design.

The product is a light tan color heavy cream with real gold flecks. The cream has a strong herbal scent which I love (being an herbalist) but it can be off-putting for others.

The cream is very thick and heavy; the “Cho Bo Yang Rejuvenating” line is targeted for the extra dry skin with anti-aging benefits. Out of all the creams in this review, this is by far the heaviest. It does not quite ever feel like it is fully absorbed, leaving a matte film over my skin. However despite feeling like I have a mask on, the benefits of this cream outweighs its shortcoming. As many creams as I tried, I always go back to using this whenever I feel like I need an extreme boost. Truthfully I never looked at the ingredients list until now, and holy crap how long is that list??? I am surprise how many different herbs they try to fit in that jar. I see lots of herbs I love (i.e. ginsengs, fungus) but I do question the effectiveness of each herbal amount. Because of the heaviness of the cream I only use this at night sparingly as needed (no more than 2 nights/week). Whenever I wake up the next morning, my skin always just looks and feels so amazing. It always gives me such dewy and plumper skin. Unlike other hydrating creams that make my acne worse, this one helps heal my acne scars and any active breakouts. Unfortunately I do not see it on the Missha website currently; I am really hoping they just ran out. However they have the regular Cho Bo Yang Cream which is the same just not targeted for extreme dry skin.
