In a glass jar. The jar’s lid was wrapped with handmade-looking paper tied with a cord. It looks and feels very luxurious.

The cream has an interesting texture, sort of a cross between a gel and a cream with stringiness. It has a hint of floral scent that dissipates.

This product is very well reviewed online. Cat made a great review on it here (http://www.snowwhiteandtheasianpear.com/2015/04/review-beauty-of-joseon-dynasty-cream.html) and was the number one reason why I brought it. That being said, it does live up to its reputation.

This is an interesting texture; it is a cross between gel and cream with stickiness to it. The stickiness is kind of like soft peaks of egg whites but lighter. It does leave the skin with a coating on top but it is not unpleasant. It is not sticky and absorbs in about 10-15 minutes. I prefer creams that leaves a “protective” film on my skin if I am using it at night. The film is very similar to the sleeping masks. In the morning I am left with super soft skin. The cream is also usable in the daytime for days where I need the extra hydration, especially around my nose. If my face does not need the extra hydration, my skin gets oily after a few hours.

The amazing part of this skin is not only its hydrating factor but that it leaves the skin brighter and lighter even after the first application. It also lessen the appearance of fine lines.

  1. One of these days I’m going to buckle down and finally give this cream a try. Don’t know why but the look of the jar just doesn’t appeal to me much but I do like the sound of soft egg white peaks!

    1. My picture does not do it justice. But I am always a sucker for glass jars. It looks luxurious when it was still packaged, but I threw the packaging away before I took the pictures heh.

It does brighten better than Claire’s Guerisson 9 Complex Cream so if that is your goal, I would suggest getting it. But personally I like Claire’s cream more.
